The bulk of India’s cardamom production comes from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.

The pods are small, oval, and green, containing tiny black seeds with a fragrant, slightly sweet taste. Indian green cardamom is highly valued for its quality and aromatic potency, making it a key ingredient in both savory and sweet dishes.
